This coming Friday is our six-weekly Social Night. Kay and Gordon will be teaching the Circular Waltz which is used in a couple of the progressive dances.
The evening starts with the Circular Waltz lesson at 7.30 pm, followed by the Social at 8.15 pm.
During the night we do mainly pub jive, but do include swing music, cha cha and slow rhythm music. There will be a couple of progressive dances as well as one or two line dances.
Entry is $5.00, BYO drinks plus a small plate of finger food to share on the communal table.
Tea and coffee is available all night at no charge. This evening is for singles and couples.
Feel free to bring along friends and family. A chance for everyone to try out their new steps, as well as get to know others from class..

We will be holding a workshop on Slow Rhythm at Guildford Town Hall, cnr James & Meadow St. GUILDFORD on Sunday 19th October between 2 and 4 pm. Entry $10 per person. If you do not have a partner, let us know and we will try to match up the folks that are coming along on their own.

Kay and Gordon taught the basic Slow Rhythm at our Social Night. On Sunday they will briefly revise what was covered at the Social Night, plus extend us with more steps.
Anyone is welcome to come along - even those who do not attend Jive Alive classes.

This coming Friday night 26th September 2008 - we will start the social night at 7.30 pm instead of 8.00 pm. This is to include a lesson in Slow Rhythm from 7.30 pm until 8.15 pm. The usual social will therefore begin at 8.15 pm.

All welcome. If you can, organise a partner beforehand, otherwise we will try to arrange partners on the night.

For the social night, BYO, gold coin donation (no extra charge for the lesson), please bring a small plates of snacks to share at the communal table. Tea and coffee will be provided.

Singles and couples, Beginners and Improvers all welcome. Feel free to bring along friends and family as well.
